The standalone services index

Three planks. One advisor. One written plan.

True Forge Advisors Incorporated is an unaffiliated life insurance brokerage, a household financial-education practice, and a long-term wealth-planning desk — run by the same advisor against the same plan, on the same disclosed compensation, for clients in all fifty states. Pick the path that matches what is on your plate; each one leads back to a single private conversation.

Three service pillars

What we do, in plain language. In three pieces.

The same advisor carries each pillar end-to-end. Read them in order; otherwise jump straight to the one that matches what is on your plate right now.

01
Service pillar

Independent life insurance brokerage

As an unaffiliated broker, we compare term, whole, universal, and final-expense policies from multiple top-rated carriers on your behalf. Coverage is matched to your protection goals, budget, health profile, and planning horizon — not to a single provider’s captive shelf.

Intended for

Aimed at households sizing or rebuilding protection: adults weighing term against permanent, families with a new dependent, individuals navigating non-standard underwriting, and small-business owners funding key-person or buy-sell coverage.

  • Term, whole, universal, and final-expense comparisons across a multi-carrier panel
  • Underwriting navigation for non-standard health profiles
  • Policy placement revisited at life events, not at sale anniversaries
  • Recommendation basis documented in writing, before any carrier is approached
Education-first, in practice

Compensation is paid by the chosen carrier out of the premium of the policy you place — but the size of that compensation does not influence which carrier or policy we recommend.

02
Service pillar

Household financial education

Structured coursework for parents, young adults, and multigenerational households — designed to build durable literacy so the advice that follows has somewhere to land. Sessions are practical, not motivational, and recorded for follow-up.

Intended for

Aimed at households standardising on a shared financial vocabulary: parents raising a first generation of savers, young adults leaving their first salaried role, and multigenerational families preparing inheritance or elder-care conversations together.

  • Budgeting, debt reduction, and retirement readiness
  • Estate-transfer fundamentals and basic investing vocabulary
  • Cohort and household formats; recorded for reference after each session
  • Built to feed the brokerage and wealth work that follows — not to sell it
Education-first, in practice

Education work is its own paid engagement. Its fees are independent of any insurance placement and stand on their own.

03
Service pillar

Long-term wealth planning

Customised accumulation, preservation, and wealth-transfer plans for professionals, small-business owners, and families navigating inheritances, divorce, retirement transitions, or intergenerational planning. The written plan is reviewed at least annually and after any major life event.

Intended for

Aimed at households with something on the balance sheet to coordinate: professionals with concentrated equity or deferred compensation, small-business owners integrating personal and business plans, and multigenerational families preparing a transfer.

  • Tax-aware accumulation and decumulation strategy
  • Business succession and concentrated-position planning
  • Multi-generation transfer and trust coordination
  • Annual review and life-event triggers as standing practice, not as an upsell
Education-first, in practice

Fees for wealth-planning work are independent of any insurance placement. A paid plan exists whether or not a policy is ever placed.

What the engagement looks like

A four-step rhythm. No surprises, no upsell.

Every engagement — brokerage, education, or wealth — runs through the same four steps. The pillar may change; the rhythm does not.

  1. 01A short written note

You send us what is on your plate — a protection gap, an inheritance question, a household literacy goal. We reply within one business day.

  2. 02A no-fee introduction call

A 30-minute call to scope the work, the timing, and which pillar leads. Nothing is sold; nothing is committed in this call.

  3. 03A written engagement letter

Before any policy is approached or any coursework begins, we issue a written engagement letter naming scope, fees, and compensation disclosure in plain language.

  4. 04An annual review cadence

Plans and policies are reviewed at least annually, and after any major life event. The same advisor carries the work end-to-end — no hand-offs.

Which path fits

Four household types. One written plan each.

The shape of the advice changes with the shape of the household. Each audience carries a distinct starting pillar and a different mix of the three lines above — so you can self-locate before the first call rather than describing your situation from scratch.

The three operating positions

Education-first. Carrier-neutral. Disclosure-first.

The same three commitments the practice is built on — restated here so the way we work is visible on the services page, not in the disclosure footer.

01

Education-first

Every recommendation is preceded by the literacy needed to evaluate it — written plan first, product placement second.

02

Carrier-neutral

No captive shelf and no in-house product. The recommendation follows the household’s fit, not the firm’s commission ladder.

03

Disclosure-first

Compensation is disclosed in plain language, in writing, before any recommendation is made. Referral fees, if any, are enumerated in advance.
